The Research behind "Man's Feat at the Tower of Babel"

Written by John Abram

Intro

A lot of mystery surrounds the Tower of Babel, whose sunken foundation has never been found. The Bible itself reveals very little. What caused the Confoundment? What was our sin? And what in the hell were we up to? What I found was proof of an ascent. What I fear is that we went too far. But what I hope, while we must remain humbled, is that we unearth at least some of the truth.

Summary

Man’s original place on this planet was the Garden of Eden. There he lived in the presence of God. It was paradise for him, his room and board completely taken care of, and he knew not of sin or death. Everything was going well between the Creator and the created, but a ghost from the past slithered in to tempt him.

Man succumbed to said temptation, and now unfit for it, was escorted out of said garden. He no longer lived in the presence of God, but rather his pain, out in the wilderness. The game had changed forever, and man was prevented from going back in.
Picking up speed and going downhill, he accrued more and more sin. God then all but destroyed his creation, sending a flood like no other. The reset button was pressed, and God went all in on Noah.

But like spores from a mold there remained traces of sin. And like spores from a mold, they began to regrow—this time proliferating. And soon, intelligent man was stuck in his ways of forbidden knowledge and sin. He still wanted to return to paradise however, realizing his fate was dismal on Earth, so he set his sights on Heaven. He did not have permission from the God that had made him to build a megastructure to help him do so.

By now he had learned to accept the evil on Earth and within, and moreover, he had embraced it. He gorged himself on that forbidden fruit, growing grotesque in his nature. Now miles high and aligned with the fallen, from the top of his tower, sneaky little man snuck his way back in.

God sounded the alarm and cast them back down. Before he did so, he broke up their language; they would never be able to rise up like that as one again. To drive his point home, God destroyed the tower and scattered them as far as the ends of the Earth; a complete redesign still in effect to this day.
