On the March - Source: Vogue Arabia

The old kings and queens of Ancient Egypt, once more parade through the streets and this time in modern wheeled chariots as the ancient pharaohs are transported under tight security to the new National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation. Called the “Pharaohs’ Golden Parade”, twenty-two pharaohs, comprising of eighteen kings and four queens, among them one of Egypt’s most powerful queens, will take up residence in their new home. The spectacle was grand, fused with powerful music matching the symbolic occasion as the convoy of gold and black coloured carriages, each inscribed with the sovereign’s name, rolled through the streets.

Watch the entire spectacle and enjoy this wonderful experience as the old kings and queens once more show us the powerful place they still hold in today’s modern world.
